The University Teachers Union (全国一般労働組合東京南部大学教員組合) is a member union of the 2,200-strong National Union of General Workers Tokyo Nambu. In addition to solidarity with other NUGW branches, we actively support the NUGW Nambu Foreign Workers Caucus in its work to protect and enhance the rights of foreign workers in Japan.

The University Teachers Union (UTU) is a labor organization founded in January, 1999, to represent teachers at universities in Japan.
